Dixie Green, Inc began with three brothers: Harlan, Jerry, and Hank Richardson in 1974 with a single greenhouse located on the family farm.  They were known as Richardson Greenhouse.  After showing such high quality products the company began to grow.  By 1979 other friends and investors saw great opportunities and joined forces to become Dixie Green, Inc. 

 

 

We have now grown into a new generation.  Hank is still an active part of the greenhouse along with his two sons: John and Daniel.  They have started the second generation of ownership with the company.  John and Daniel were both born and raised in the family business growing up through the ups and downs of the family industry.  They have also been there by their father Hank's side seeing the challenges and successes while learning how to take over the family business.  Now, John and Daniel run the family business alongside their father, Hank, showing the same values of a successful business for the future success of the business.
